Just bought a monthly gym membership. Hopefully the month reminder on my Visa bill will keep me motivated to workout.
Hope I can establish a routine this time around.
My boyfriend broke up with me last week and I was really stressed. I was at home and couldn’t sit still so I went running. I live right down the street from a park so I did a lap around the park. It’s a mile and my first lap was about 8min. I’ve only gone 4 times since then, but my time is already under 8min and it gets faster every time. I hope to keep this up and eventually get under a 6min mile. It has helped me get over my boyfriend, it calms me down, and I feel like I’m actually doing something good for myself. I’ll see where I am in a few weeks but I think this will be a habit that sticks.

For the past month I have been training for a sprint triathlon, working out 5-6 days a week. I plan to complete my 1st race in the October, if I am ready. Swimming is the hardest part, need to quit smoking.

But I’m trying to change this.. I’m not the person who’s very sporty… but I want to have a better and healthier lifestyle and, ofcourse, lose some weight…

I’m in my 2nd week of working out regulary! AT least 3 to 4 times a week. Walking, running, fitness,... as long as there’s sweat involved, I’m happy!

This was a Nike billboard in NYC. I’m very much an ‘I’ll do it tomorrow’ person, so it rung true for me :)
