I’ve been at this for well over a year, gathering information and trying to get some income generated.
So far, I’ve photographed 2 weddings, and several portraits. I’ve sold a couple of wildlife photos and earned a few dollars assisting other photographers on weddings and portrait sessions.
All told, I’ve earned about $300.00.
I’m working with a website designer so we can provide cool photo services to realtors and folks involved in commercial properties. I haven’t let the cat out of the bag yet on my blog, because it’s still a work in progress.

I am now working for Moores Interiors photographing their show homes. They give me carte blanche to spend a whole day photographing 5 rooms, picking up details and spending time to light the room, to maximise the look of the shots. To date I have done 2 properties and I have been commissioned to photograph at least 2 more!
And And I am going to photograph their wedding day in May!
How good is that?

Last week I was photographing a property for the agents and got talking with the client whose husband worked in TV like I did. I know his name and that he’d had an untimely death. Half way through the job, she passed her mobile phone over to me and it was her new fiancee. ” So you’re a photographer….” He rang me yesterday and was SO pleased with the photographs I took of his wife to be’s home that he offered me work photographing for his design company! How great is that? On the back of my contract work I’ve got a potential job earning serious money and if I do a good job, it will be fairly frequent work. Its happening!
