Gosh… maybe this is even (at the moment) the most important goal from my list. My parents would be sooooo happy if I cleaned up my room. Especially my desk is a mess. It’s full with papers, books and other stuff. I’m sure that if I would clean up my room, my parents would let me do ANYTHING. The problem is that I really hate cleaning up! I just don’t have the courage to begin with it… hmm. Maybe on a rainy afternoon?

I am going to try and set aside a day to tackle this. But if that doesn’t happen I will be cleaning for at least 15 minutes everyday….it will take a lot longer but at least it’s something. And now I am off to do laundry.

I got sick :(
Well, I got pretty sick. I have been sick for a long time but it got pretty bad there for a bit. Should be getting better though, so I shall clean my room in a jiffy!
I took some before pictures just for motivation. I don’t know if I will post them though. It’s quite embarrassing. :P

Didn’t exactly accomplish anything.
New plan. Do it a little at a time. :P

I read somewhere about a resolution contract, and I thought it would be a good idea and motivator.
Section 1) I’m going to clean my room by the end of the weekend. It is Friday night. That gives me 2 days to clean my room. What I mean by clean is: Clothes are out of the floor and put in the closet/drawers. Dirty clothes are put in hamper or in the wash, Bed covers and sheets and pillow cases are washed and bed is made, floor is cleaned and vacuumed, carpet is also shampooed, insides of dressers/closet/cases are cleaned out completely, makeup and mirror are moved from parents room to my room.
Section 2) I can cheat myself this way: If I’m sick tomorrow (which is possible with my unpredicable stomach) or Sunday, I’m allowed an extra day. No excuses though. I know when I’m too sick to work.
Section 3) My reward will be to spend the day after doing what I want, like playing a game I haven’t played in ages or reading some fanfiction. Whatever I want.
Section 4) My signature: Hannah ** :D
Well, this took a while, but I think it might help. I reeeeally need to clean my room. :P

rather than “clean my room” because the “up” makes it sound like a much lower-stress activity… just pick up the clothes, organize this-and-that.. voila.
I’ll make an attempt tonight.

More of a pile shuffle then anything else.
But it’s a pile shuffle that can give me a clean work surface, so I can move on to de-cluttering.

My room is habitually messy – Though it’s typcially a logical messy, as I pile things (usually).
Even if/when I accomplish this ‘Thing’, it’ll have to happen again. And again. And again.
: ) Maybe with the decluttering it’ll help!
