Why $20,000? Because $30,000 would be too much — 15 hours ago
I’m going to double my savings account by this time next year. This will also help me with another goal… Move out of New York City!

I first set this goal in 2002. The purpose is to set aside $20,000 for emergencies and an immediate financial cushion. Since 2002 then my financial life has been dominated by a franchise that instead of making me lots of money, cost me my entire fortune – OK, it was only $150,000 plus a bankrupcy! Ouch! However my business has become moderately successful and I am close to being back on track! It’s pure tenacity. The truth: I am a successful publisher and am achieving my goals. Pieces of the puzzle are falling into place because of my excellent planning and hard work to make this happen. I behave and act like a successful publisher – because I AM! The future is bright, achievement of my dreams is only a matter of time.
Not worried about how much I actually make this year, but at the end of the year I want to be able to count my money and have $20,000. :)
