The goal I've been focusing on for the past two days... 3 years ago

is increase my physical health. I’ve been resting and taking medicine trying to get rid of this mysterious fever. It’s made me quite fatigued and headachey at times.

But, tomorrow hopefully I’ll be back to normal and I’ll be able to at least focus on my be a good teacher goal. I’ve got loads of preparation to do.

Hopefully Thursday, I can focus on decluttering and organization. And hopefully on Friday I can feel mentally alert enough to resume work on my secret project.

This weekend’s schedule is to be determined.

This is the deal with this goal... 3 years ago

since it’s on-going instead of a one-time accomplishment: I have obligated myself to do a lot of things lately. And, I’ve been spending too much time unproductively lately, so I’ve got to commit my time to doing these goals more. So, for the rest of the month, I won’t be on as much as I have been.

I’ll be focusing on my decluttering/organization goals, my exercise goals, my teaching goal, my eating goal, and my secret project goal. I’ve got some serious commitments with these goals, and I’ve got to get focused in order to fulfill them.

I have done this... 3 years ago

consistently for the last few weeks. It’s a little stressful sometimes to balance everything out, but it’s worth it. Focus is important. Realizing where you place it is key to getting things accomplished on your list.

Today's list: 3 years ago

1. workout (I’m running behind schedule today)
2. Housecleaning
3. Plant flowers
4. Make shopping list for tomorrow or Monday’s shopping.
5. Work on decluttering/organizing goal
6. Get ready to go shopping to get-together tonight.
7. Go shopping (edited due to realizing I don’t need anything for tonight’s get-together)
8. Get stuff ready for get-together tonight.
9. Work on secret project
10. Read for class in morning and another section of Bird by Bird.

This isn’t my typical list for this goal, but it’s what I need to do today. And, if I stay on-task, I should be able to accomplish it all hopefully.

Today's plan: 3 years ago

I am tempted to sleep all afternoon long, but I need to be productive.

2. finish out my sleep goal by going to bed on time tonight.
7. consult newspaper for leads in new jobs
8. wash, dry sheets; make up bed
9. take stuff out of closet so I can really organize.
10. buy more coffee from store so I can have coffee today
23. read more of Poe story
27. start reading some of my research involving how to execute my project.

I have an engagement tonight, so I won’t have as much time to work on stuff.

Already done:
13. bed making

To do:
2. sleep goal- planning
4. caffeine goal- continued abstinence from caffeine
9. eating goal- planning
10. exercise goal- do some form of exercise
11. job goal- newspaper research
14./15./19. organization/decluttering- continue to work on bedroom and bedroom closet
16. filing goal- review PFM’s information
21. tv goal- do not have it on while trying to go to sleep tonight.
37. coffee goal- long-term caffeine use research
38. retirement goal- e-mail scanned forms to my friend’s dad for consultation.

I want to get this goal up and running again... 3 years ago

I’ve been doing okay with doing multiple goals, but I’m tired today. I need extra motivation to do it, so if I post it, I know a few of you at least will offer your support and encouragement to get these things done! :)

On the agenda:
2. sleep goal- Work on my structural plan for the goal/Go to bed before midnight!
4. caffeine goal- continue to abstain from it.
9. eating goal- Refine goal some.
10. exercise goal- workout
11. job goal- Web research
13. bed goal- Make bed up now that sheets are dry
14./19. organization/decluttering- Work on bedroom
37. coffee goal- do more research into long-term effects of caffiene usage

Plan for today: 3 years ago

I’m really tired due to the horrible amount of sleep I got last night (for those who haven’t read, I’ve got a sore throat from hades!) So, I’m not going to be as ambitious as yesterday.

Already done:
1- this goal (made this list)
10- bed-making (accomplished)
31- cheer goal (already given out some, will continue to as they come in)
34- bug problem goal (plan in place)

To be done before the end of today:
3- Planner goal (I hope to have the rest of the pages printed out, cut, and start using it)
6- Bedtime goal (this is just going to have to be mandatory…kick me off at 10:30 or earlier tonight, people, if I’m crazy enough to be on.)
7- Eating goal
8- Exercise (okay, because I am very unsure about my physical state, I’m going to be doing my stretching program today.)
14- E-mail goal (I want to go through all my folders and see what’s in there, and reread a few of those articles to see what the best approach to processing what I’ve already read and have archived now is.)
16- Job search (Send resume to job identified from yesterday’s research)
17- Health (Proactively deal with this sinus condition/Do what Des said last night)
18- TV (begin logging my tv shows…I may need leniency while sick, though.)
33- Caffiene goal (cease caffiene consumption by 6 p.m. and begin logging drinks from that point)

1- Attack multiple goals (this list takes care of that)
3- Planner goal [I want to have pages printed out I will need]
6- Bedtime [I want to come up with my revised plan so my friends can remind me if necessary]
7- Eating
8- Exercise
10- Bed-making [need to set up another log, and re-make the bed with clean sheets]
11- Organization (read some articles on it today)
13- Drinking (took on caffiene goal, and planned for it)
14- E-mail decluttering (cleared my inbox completely, read another organization series on this)
15- General decluttering [I would like to eliminate another box of stuff for either storage or finding a place for its contents]
16- Job search [look in newspaper and websites]
18- TV [not watch any until tonight, come up with way to measure goal’s progress]
31- 10K cheers (cheering as they come in)
33- caffiene [find some type of way to track off-line what I drink daily]
