I did it! Officially this am I had 11,100.00 or so in the account.
The money is going into CD’s, possibly a Roth IRA, and for a rug for my new place.
I think this was wprth it, but I say it helps to be on a good contract.

I will go and check on my paycheck and also the tax return. Oddly, I might be able to mark it as done. Strange.

supposedly coming to the bank today. I will then put it into savings and if I count ALL my cash, have a need for 1K.
Well, its not great, but it isn’t exactly shabby either, despite the fact that I am about to spend a lot of it in the next couple of months!

I intended to count only the cash from savings. Now, if I count ALL cash, I need about 2K. :( Most I think I can managed ia to save one more K before May 1. AH well. I did find a penny today, and I do have a tax return coming…
maybe. Maybe I’ll find 1K worth of Pennies. I think everything could be possible

found today in the hospital parking lot. It’s spare change for sure, but I’m adding it to the pile.
Well, I won’t be achieving this, but I sure as heck am trying and this is how:
*Put all my spare and found change in the bank where it can earn a pittance of interest.
*Working 6 days in one week, giving me a double paycheck (get paid for 2 weeks essentially plus overtime).
*Minimizing spending on clothing and books.
Still nt really there, but the “found” money is helping a lot more than I thought.

Well, oddly, I found a bunch of change today.
30 cents, in the parking lot at the hospital, which is in a mess due to the media frenzy associated lately with the school the hospital is with…but I digress.
It’s adding up to maybe 2.50…not 10K….
but well, 2.50 is 2.50.

0.14 cents today while running. 2 cents outside the medic station, so I suspect those were planted. The others a dime and 2 pennies up by the grocery….
Currently I need 2,500 to make it. If I include my tax return I need about 1,400….
Well, If I did not need to actually spend that cash to obtain furniture, I;d actually be able to make this. Amazing.
