If only I could find a good place. I live in tourist town USA, or Myrtle Beach, which is filled with restaurants and bars, not to mention all these awful beach stores. The only nature I see is in small patches off of the highways. There aren’t many state parks around here that just let you wander aimlessly. There is a golf course near my house, though, but if I walk on it, I always get the stink eye from the golfers. When I was in college, there was a patch of wooded area at the end of the university that said “No Trespassing.” But that didn’t stop me. I used to go there to reflect and be alone. To get away from humanity. I meditated and whatnot and I’m looking for another safe and peaceful haven.

...spent time in my mother’s back yard yesterday- gardening, weeding and building a rock wall in lieu of Fathers Day gifts.
I skipped church so I could do yard work with Mom and as I was laboring I just happened to glance next to me and saw a beam of sunshine lighting up a rock with a beautiful butterfly resting atop of it.
I ended up sitting back on my heels and just watching the beam of sunshine and butterfly.
I am so glad I skipped church and was outside all day.
Nature is beautiful…

I love spending time in nature. Even just recently for a lunch break I had during my SAT practice test, I drove 15 min from my school just to go eat lunch looking out into the bay, and we only had a 30 min break, I love nature toooo much

This summer I went on a 5 week camping trip in the pacific northwest and got so in touch with nature it was incredible. Sleeping Under the stars really puts you in perspective. Now, I just have to continue to spend time in nature even though I am back in reality

It’s just too cold and miserable outside. Come spring, this will go back on my list.

If only nature was warmer!
I went for a mini-walk this week in the Tuileries. It was lovely, but the whipping wind tends to kill the fun. I have a deep preference for warmth.
