read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation

Having read the entire Bible I am convinced that it should be interpreted symbolically rather than literally. Many metaphors are used in the Old Testament to represent internal experience – the promised land, Zion, Jeusalem, the tabernacle, the burning bush and others. Keep this in mind while reading it and see if it changes your perspective.

I have several friends who have committed to read the bible from Genesis through Revelation in 2007. It has been years since I have taken this challenge and I am looking forward to it.

i went home and my Bible reading was stalled…bad, bad…i guess i have to instill more discipline in me. now, am behind with 2 weeks worth of reading. i always told myself to open the Bible when i was home…but somehow just really did not get to doing it EVEN ONCE. that’s a major set back… =(

I have bee trying my best to reach this goal within a year…so am praying that I will be able to reach it within 365 days from the time that I started =D

I am now starting Numbers…that, as my Bible Reading Plan in my PDA says, is 11%! Whheeee!
