She’s 94 and can’t hear worth a damn. Her cognition is still good which considering her age, 94, is a wonderful thing. However, she makes me nuts and I get really frustrated.
E.g. She’s 94 and looks really good for her age. Most people think she is in her 70s, but she is always negative about how she looks. Her clothes aren’t pretty enough. Her skin is too wrinkled. Her eyelids need lifting. The worst of all, though, is the constant complaining about her hair and the quest for a wig. She’s bought several and likes them in the store. We get home and she hates them.
Okay, so it doesn’t seem like much, but every day she talks about how ugly she is. Now, I’m a BIG girl who is physically disabled and has to use a power wheelchair. If she thinks she’s ugly, what must she think of me? She tells me constantly that she’s so proud of me, but again, how can I believe that when she thinks she’s such a nothing?
Whine, whine, whine. Oh well, It’s just frustrating.
