The charger for my laptop went dead a little while ago. When I got a new one, rebooting was a complicated mess! I got nervous and decided to move this list up on the priority scale. I made a file of my documents to put on a data disk, only to find out that my cd burner is busted! So, I’m going to print out some of the documents that I would be really bummed if I lost and leave the rest to wait and see. The semester is only three weeks longer, after that I won’t need my computer to do schoolwork. Then I can send it to the right people to see what’s up with the disk drive.

As if having an “accident” once wasn’t enough.
I need a big a wake up call.

Finally got around to it! It’s a pity I’m always adding new music so it’s hard to keep track of what I have backed up or not

Months later, mission accomplished. I want to test the CDs I burned, however, before marking this as complete. Almost done.

I should do this. I ran out of CDs. Yeah, that’s my excuse.

I was prepared to do this today, but then I realized that I am out of CDs, so no can do. Luckily, I’ll be going home next Wednesday or Thursday and I know my father hoards blank CDs as if they were going to disappear from the market, so I can use some of his.

I have copies of most of my writing and music files, but not all of it. I would be heartbroken to lose it. And I have pictures on my computer that are nowhere else. I really have to back it all up. It’s going to be a massive project. Maybe next weekend.
