A few days ago an amazing friend had a suprise for me after shool. She made me close my eyes and took me outside, where I had to climb up a little mound of dirt (which was interesting to say the least)to stand under a tree, although at the time i didn’t know that. When I opened my eyes, she was shaking the one tree branch so that the beautiful pink petals were falling all around me.
It was definately one of those moments for me. It really showed me how much she cared and it was just breath-takingly beautiful. I really couln’t have asked for a better way to complete one of my favorite goals.
Spring is here. It’s so glorious! I’ve been in the city so long that I haven’t experienced Spring in full, in ages! Now I smell the sweet flowers in the air. Outside of the Library in my town, there were three beautiful trees standing in full expression of Cherry Blossom bloom. I stood under, looked up at all the soft powdery pink flowers – only a few petals fell lol! But – to be under this tree was a great experience and I felt great energy….
Ultimately, I would like to see the cherry blossom season of Japan. There is an undeniable “magic” and charm being near these trees. I actually filmed some of this spring beauty and it’s just beautiful. I saw a baby squirrel yesterday and surprisingly two days in a row, I saw a ground hog or hedgehog, not sure they were the same.
I made a few entries about how beautiful Japan is. I would love to be there in the spring for the Cherry Blossom bloom and festivals!
...for this absolutely wonderful goal. It sounds so fairy tale like…like something i really need right now
I have always loved that scene from the movie where Scarlett is walking through the garden and the cherry blossoms are surrounding her.
The art in Memoirs of a Geisha is similar…
I think I would take loads of photos. Nature at its finest!
