Looking into a trip to NYC next month with Laura, and if we do we’ll probably catch a show. Yay!
How to see a play
How I did it: I got signed up through a program in my last school as a field trip thing. The ticket was provided to me by both my art teacher, and my English teacher. They were awesome for letting me go.
Lessons & tips: Just do your best to get tickets I guess.
Resources: My two teachers

At the last minute, something more important came up and I opted not to go to the play. I have no regrets about my decision and would definitely make the same choice again.
I will try again, though.

I finally got off my butt and ordered tickets to a play called “Well”. It’s being performed at a small theater in town. I’ll go see it in May.
Well, I can say I’ve done this, and just this year too. I saw “A Christmas Carol” not too long ago… January I think…. But i would like to see more than just one.
The school district always puts on a production to raise money to keep music and the arts in the schools. For the past two years, I have created their logo and designed all of their marketing materials for their production. This year it’s Alice in Wonderland, and I’ll be going to see it in a couple weeks. YAY! I love this story.
I love seeing live plays and musicals. I’ve been to Stratford twice, and really enjoyed it. But, it’s been quite awhile since I’ve been to see a live play. This year, I am hoping to see a good play production.

I used to do this, and plays can be intense. So I avoid them. So I need to do them!
We saw Much Ado About Nothing.
The actors where from several states: Kentucky, New Hampshire, Texas, Pennsylvania, etc.
The set design was great. It was interesting that they modernized the play a bit.
I read it a few years ago so I started to remember what was going on and what would happen but it was very well acted out.
They were very expressive in their faces and movements. They were very funny. One of the most hilarious parts was when Benedict was trying to eavesdrop and hiding and sneaking around conspicuously as the men pretended not to notice.
Saw a Midsummer Night’s Dream at the shakespeare’s globe theatre last week, it was amazing, best thing i’ve seen in a while!
