Draw, Paint, Make Art

Self-portait I did for an AP art assignment. Hot a gold medal for it in the All City Exhibition. I think it’s okay. I can do a little better now. Getting better with time…

Also my FIRST knife painting I ever did!

I was obsessed with painting flowers, trees and circles when I first moved to the northwest. I really miss having that drive to paint:)

What is art anyway? I paint and draw, and at one point in my life I taught art. For me art is everywhere and is different to each individual. The important thing is that it means something to the artist.

Anything that stimulates your artistic creativity is always worth doing. I tend to feel more fulfilled when I complete a new “masterpiece”. =^_=

Well two things, I am dabbling with the oil paints. That is good. I like it. And I love, I mean I love playing with Adobe Illustrator.
I think that it brings the Artist in me out. I think that have definite artistic joys and when I play with them on the computer, WOW. Boom. It all comes together. There are certain things that I like more about certain medias.

I’ve always been fasinated by art, like it was something wich I could ever be able to do. I’ve seen somethings on the scholar books.

It’s an almost-regular hobby that I love. :)
