I had mine done about a month ago now (after 8 months waiting)
I had it done at 2.4mm/10g and it was almost painless, the needle was in before I knew it, and the pain when he put the retainer in lasted less than a second,
It hurt for about 5 days afterwards and until about a week ago hurt a bit if I knocked it but now it’s fine, should be healed in another month :D
