I want my family to have loving memories of me…......my legacy is what I may have taught them
How to leave a legacy
How I did it: Yeah I spent my summer working at Miracle Ranch and really formed some amazing relationships. Several staff members have left their marks on the camp by painting their names on the art barn floor. I was one of them. My campers and other staff are going to see this in the future and remember me. When my campers come back as staff they'll see it and I can imagine them telling their campers about the fun they had with their counselor Epcot.

Means I have accomplished something for the greater good – to be a part of change while its happening silently. There is a lot of corruption in this world but there is also a lot of BEAUTY too! I choose to see the beauty in it.

Leave a history my children can smile about
I found a cool book series called “I Want You To Know Me” that is a way to leave something handwritten for your children and family. It’s not memories so much as physical traits and stuff you actually share with your relatives. You just answer the questions in the book and give it to the next generation. I got one and learned a lot about myself while filling it out. Very neat way to leave your personal legacy. And, everyone has SOMETHING to offer the world. Maybe this will help you discover it! iwantyoutoknowme.com
How will they remember me? Did I choose to love? Did I point to You enough? I want to make a mark on things. I want to leave an offering…

By the end of my life, I want to know that I have served God by having a positive impact on those around me, having encouraged many people to achieve something they feared, having left the world a better place.
