How to be more organized"less is more!"
How I did it: It too a few weeks of purging and serious cleaning and going through things one room at a time to get started. I donated, recycled and threw things out. I found several sites that had great ideas as well as home decorating/design shows. I purchased storage boxes and baskets and files and got to work labeling and sorting. Now I keep up with it every week and it's not such a big job. Lessons & tips: Clothes: If you haven't worn it in a year, get rid of it Resources: I found these 2 sites to be really helpful Style at home and Organizing Your Life the Easy Way as well as some ideas from TLC's Trading Spaces and also Clean Sweep on HGTV

More "How I Did It" stories
How I did it: For me, being organized begins with lots of lists! I always write down what I want to accomplish - whether it be today, this week, this month, etc. The more dedicated I became to my lists, the shorter and more managable they became. Read how I did it…
How I did it: It is a moderately paced, continuous process. The longer the thought process internalized, the more insightful you are on how you function at home & at work.I envision that with organization & system, the relationship of my space & my life would have been: more peaceful practical chaos-free efficient Read how I did it…

How I did it: I started with tidying me bedroom, and making sure all my draws kept tidy. Also, I made sure I knew where everything was and everything was in its place. Then I planned what to do with my time, this was harder. I got too easily destracted but I did it in the end! It is a great feeling to know you have accomplished something! Read how I did it…

How I did it: I moved in with my (semi) neat-freak boyfriend. He helped see just how much of a slob that I really am haha! I just learned to throw away things such as receipts, old mail, etc. that I didn't need anymore. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I have done most except for one...the bag holder. It will cost me PHP300 to buy one. Too much for the prize of being organized. I always look upon my room mate who is very well on organizing things. But i can see too much pressure on her. So I said why not enjoy it, so all things wouldn't look that harsh on you. I tried buying colorful organizers and dressers that fit my mood. Pink, purple, red. They are of many colors and fit my room also. Read how I did it…

My life is in chaos from my place being a messy wreck, my schoolwork everywhere, dates and deadlines lost, etc. I need a place for everything and everything in it’s place. Now.
since school started and im busier i haven’t been as organized. but i’ll get my room clean today then i’ll get back into a routine. hopefully i’ll be able to keep up with it.
I really want to feel comfortable when I walk into my bedroom. In order to do this, I need to reorganize my closet so that it holds two dowel rods for hanging, not just one. I also need to get a tall hamper with a cover so my dog doesn’t keep taking all my dirty clothes. Finally, I need one more dresser so that I have room for things. One small dresser isn’t doing it.
Things I already did to improve on this:
Bought a rotating shoe rack that holds all my shoes off the ground.
Got an organizer for my earrings, bracelets, and necklaces.
Got rid of some clothes and old jewelry.

I’m putting up a list of all TV programs I like to watch on regular basis.. This way I will only watch TV when I really want to see something, I can even watch some of those online.
By the time, who knows? I might even reduce the number of programs I watch.
Reducing TV time is a very important step I was postponing for a long time.
STACE_FACE has decided to embrace the chaos ♥
I need to get organised. I have put this goal off for a little while, but the truth is it hasn’t really done me any favours.
Everything is really chaotic and now that I know that change is really happening I NEED to get organised.
I think there is 5 weeks until we are out of this house and there is so much to do.
- Need to pack my few belongings that are floating around the place.
- Need to find somewhere to move to.
- Need to save so I can get myself on my feet.
- Need to find a car / Push my uncle to find a car
- Need to budget / organise my money when it comes to October ( the month of much fun )
I’m going to clean out my bag and my general living space because this clutter has become chaotic.
hopefully this will help me be more independent
besides everything is so messy, even though i know where everything is.
you should see my locker during the school year.
i just cleaned my room and organized my closet but its gotten a little messy again. i’ll clean it tomorrow in the morning, it should only take me about ten minutes.
Sadafs in love....
m a well organized person as far as order is concerned… but i dont do regularly wat i have on my ‘to do’ list….
but for the last few day m doin it properly n regularly…. bcz i’ve too much to do, n i make a list everyday of things i’ve to do, n next day, no excuse, i do it all… n at the end of the day i feel really good when i cross all of them, coz i’ve done them….
i hope i continue this way…
I can think of two things that work. Try organizing for just 10 minutes at a time, and keep going if you feel like it.
The other is visualize the disorganized thing ( one’s room or schedule) being organized.
