How I did it: It was well worth the effort to have a patch in my garden cleared and plant medicinal herbs in it. Initially it looked like a big chore, but soon, when my herbs began to grow, I felt more than compensated for the effort that I had put in.Now all I have to do is to water it daily, weed it occassionally and pick the herbs for my daily cup of herbal tea.Besides Ocimum varieties, I have also planted Andrographis, Ginger, Aloe, Artemisia, Curc… Read how I did it…

is doing well but I chucked the mint plant away today, it literally died off in about a day after all my nurturing. Can’t wait to make something with my home-grown basil and (fingers crossed) tomatoes, i’ve definately got one tomato on my plant!

We should all grow herbs in our gardens and if we aren’t lucky enough to live in the countryside where we can have out own gardens, we can even grow them in pots on our windowsills!
I have a big garden where I grow lots of Ocimum and other aromatic herbal plants of Ayurveda.

So I was thinking: maybe I need a balcony instead of just a window sill? Do herbs need fresh/outdoor air to grow?
Hmmm… I might get some new herbal plants soon, as replacements for some of my regular plants…
Basil, Oregano, and Chives on my deck. :)
Beautiful, even though the oregano grew out of control! Now I get to work on learning to dry/freeze herbs.
the chives sprouted and all growing is visible. Yay! Completed this goal for now. :)
