take a spontaneous trip

Here’s how I did it after I paid my bills

Woke up one morning and it was sunny
Grabbed a few things from my drawers
Swung by a store and nabbed some food,shoved it in the cooler I keep in my car, topped off my gas and drove until I found somewhere interesting.
Then I stayed until I had to come back.

OR

I woke up decided I wanted to go to Florida
Called my mom and told her I was on my way
Got on a plane and went

Not hard. As long as you have your bills paid, you can just set money aside for days like that and then when the wild hair pokes you in the butt, you run. Easy peasy.

I can’t give the details but I had the best afternoon of my life. It looked like it would start off shitty but then things, well, turned around with a little suggestion and now me and someone have an inside joke. =>

Does it count as a spontaneous trip if it’s planned? Ya- that’s what I thought. Oh well. It seems my original plan of heading to Hamilton/Mac is now going to be a planned and organized event so I’ll have to find something spontaneous to do sometime. Oh well- I still have two months ahead =>

Perhaps a weekend thing, just on Friday decide to get up and go…(actually, now that I think about it, today is Friday!) It just sounds so fun, the unknown… ahhhhhhhhhhhh.
