My speech really impacted the class I spoke to. Jus the look on their faces said it all. I could tell they had no idea about the LRA and that things like this are still going on in 2008. I felt so good to see a list of names on my petition to send to Pennsylvanias Reps. Try spreading the word, even if it is jus tot one person. This war needs to end.

I am going to be giving a speech on the 21st of this month about what is the current situation in Uganda and what we can do to help. I will be doing this for my speech class so hopefully I get some listeners and spread the IC word!
fluid is bored out of my mind.
best experience of my life!
spending the night sleeping on the ground in washington dc in a hut made from cardboard boxes without adequate facilities and a lack of food/water really helped me realize how it felt physically for invisible children … by attending the simulation, i was a part of 6000 other people to help raise awareness for the invisible children of Uganda.
The children of Uganda don’t deserve to have a life of fear of being abducted. They don’t deserve to live in constent fear that they will be killed if they do not kill themselves. They are children, just like you and I are. Help spread the word. You could save and help a life.

-a group we started at school. we hope it goes nationwide…or worldwide… someday.
I’m thinking about applying for the IC World Tour. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I just need to figure out if the commitment would be too much along with school for the year. If not, i will definitely still be volunteering at the IC offices during the year and hopefully raising more money to go to Africa during the summer. I’m saving up slowly (and i mean very slowly) but it is coming along. Congratulations and thanks to everyone else doing a great job of spreading the word about the Invisible Children of Uganda!!
Sign up for the Global Night Commute in your city today!! For one night “we are taking this lying down”. Help raise awareness about the invisible children in Northern Uganda on April 29th. http://www.invisiblechildren.com/theMovement/globalNightCommute/
