finish nursing school

Straight As this session! I got an A in anatomy, an A in Speech, and an A in Sociology! :) I’m so exited! And now in 2 weeks I finally get to start my first actual nursing class!

how to do lay-outs

Just got my grades for last session. I got a “B” in Anatomy and an “A’ in advanced composition :) I’m pretty happy :) I think my goal this session is gonna be to get an “A” in anatomy just cuz I’ve only gotten B’s in it so far… it’s a hard class!

Im in a 12 month LVN program that’s over in August, and hoping to get into the bridge RN program which is only 2 more semesters ASAP. Nursing school is hard. I thought that doing LVN here at a jc would be easier, but so far it’s been the opposite! I wish I woulda hopped on the waitlist for RN instead of doing VN first. Oh well.

...and when I saw it all I could think was “oh my god, how much more money do I owe now? How much has the tuition increased?” So I hesitated for a minute to open it. Finally I decided I was going to have to deal with it one way or another so I just opened it and it turns out it was a letter letting me know I made the deans list last semester!!! That means I have a GPA higher than 3.5! I was so exitied! I haven’t made dean’s list or honor roll since I was in 8th grade… That definately made my day :)

I have one more tomorrow and then I’m done! :) I got my anatomy grade today and I got a B. Not bad… I have a feeling I’m going to end up with straight B’s this session…. That’s good and all but I would have liked to get some A’s too… well I’ll still have to wait a bit and see what my other final grades are… At least I learned a lession… Never take 20 credit hours at one time again! It’s nice to get classes out of the way but it’s not worth the struggle and the lower grades.

I finally have almost completed nursing school thank god. My graduation day is may 9th which is awesome. I didn’t think that i would feel this grateful. But now I just need to finish this semester and i will be all smiles!

Done in Aug. 2009, then hopefully to the OR…a lot of people who have gone through the same school as me have been hired at the Veteran’s hospital in the OR. The director of the OR there went to my school, about 25 years ago and now hires a lot of new grads from there. He’s also my current OR instructor, so I want to be able to get in good graces with the guy (without having to kiss his ass).

I finally got my grades today! I got 2 A’s and a B! Not too bad :) I would have liked straight A’s but that anatomy class was soooo hard. I’m happy with a B :) :) :) :) :) :)
