westcoastie I Lost 10 lbs!!!!!
How I did it: I did load after load after load. For some reason i never do small loads so i let my dirty clothes fill up a basket, that evetually turns into 4 enormous baskets that equal 30 loads of laundry!! So after bustin my hump washing, drying, folding and putting away massive amounts of laundry i am finished!!!!! YAAAAY NEVER again will i be backed up on laundry!!! Read how I did it…
Eva830 is so happy look at my face!
How I did it: With laundry soap, washer, AND dryer. I put the dirty laundry in the washing machine, poured the soap in, put it on 4 and started it. THEN when it stopped, I pulled out the clothes and then put it in the dryer with a fabric softener sheet and put that on 40 minutes, shut the door and started it! Read how I did it…

How I did it: I went to the laundromat with a good book and some soduku puzzles and did it. I had some coffee and the time passed rather quickly. I also own a lot less clothing than i used to so I find that it's harder to have a pile up of laundry. I also wear the same clothes until they are dirty instead of wearing a whole bunch of stuff and then not knowing what's dirty or what's clean. Read how I did it…

There are two loads of clean dry clothes in the laundry room. Getting more and more wrinkly as each moment passes…gotta go!

This morning when I got up, I folded the clothes that were in the dryer. Before doing anything else.
I’m so proud of how I’m training myself.

...and so they could go right back on the bed, instead of wrestling with them into a folded stack. Yay, saved a step!

Yesterday was Day 3, but I didn’t turn on the computer in the morning due to some virus muddling up the works. I handled the laundry and a whole lot of other stuff before leaving for work. Refreshing.
Today, as Day 4, I folded the clothes that were in the dryer before logging on. There is no basket buildup. Feels good.

Okay, I just folded and put away the clothes that were in the dryer before logging in here. I’m keeping up! Yay.

So today I waited to log on here until I completed one step in getting the laundry to its final destination.
This morning it was towels in the dryer that I removed and folded. Yippee!
Not that I give a hoot about clean dry towels getting all wrinkly…it’s all about starting a new habit and making sure there’s no bottleneck at the dryer.

...if maybe I didn’t have this 43T account I might keep up with the laundry. But then I’d miss out on all the wonderful stuff happening here.
Laundry, you’ll just have to wait.

Washing and drying the clothes on a timely schedule are no problem.
It’s the baskets of clean dry clothes that accumulate. They are in the living room taunting me: “Here we are. We are getting all crumpled here. Your favorite socks are somewhere in this tumbleweed of fabric. When you want them, you’ll be digging like a gopher, finding the first sock quickly but turning, turning, turning that mass of material, wondering where the other sock is. Hello! Come save us from yourself…”
ANIrene is trying to stay dry in the rain
my laundry is the last thing i see at night and the first thing i see in the morning when i wake up.
i just push it to the side of my bed (b/c its a cal king sized bed and freaking way too enormous) and i go to sleep. it just sits there.
my clean clothes are starting to mix with messy clothes, and clothes that i try on and don’t fit and am too lazy to fold it back up and put away. so its allllllll mixed in this big pile.
i need to do my laundry. b/c thats just gross. i need to find some time this weekend or something.

hisorerus asks,
“I HATE doing laundry! It's a building laundry room, so I can't decorate it or anything (half of why I hate it is because someone else is always on my back to make me switch the load the second it's done...). Is there a way to learn to like it?”
