they decide to play 1 hour away from my house when i don’t live there anymore. why wouldn’t they have a show in new york city? ahhh. so my plan: see them in california. i must. i must. and i will. i will.
Seeing 3EB live is an experience unlike any other. My favorite performance of theirs, to date, was there Thanksgiving, 2003 concert at the 9:30 Club. I was 17 and my mom took me; she sat in the balcony area while I placed myself in the middle of the crowd downstaires. I will never forget the thumbs-up and smiles she gave me throughout the show.
Performance-wise, my favorite show of theirs was April, 2007. It just so happened that it was the exact month of their ten-year anniversary as a band and they played for over three hours. They played old, new, VERY new, and did three encores.
