Volunteer for an International Development Charity

Well, this has been on my heart for a while now. But even more so in the past few months. I didn’t think it a coincidence then, when on my first attendance at a new church there was a presentation on one members dream for Liberia. He himself was from Liberia and had been in the US for four years attending MIT. His vision really broke my heart. Naturally, I am staying on board with opportunities to help bring his vision to light. Not a week later, while attending a Women of Faith Conference I also had the opportunity to sponsor a child in Sierra Leone through World Vision. These are only small steps, but I am excited with where they are taking me.
