and i think the pictures of the lilac buds worked out better than the pictures of the hillside. everything looks a lot greener to me, but its hard to see in the photos. i declare spring and nice weather to be here for good now. 7 years ago

maybe my favorite flowers are the ones that just grow. this is our as-of-yet-unmowed-by-landlord front lawn (with trash in it that seems to regenerate once i pick it up. the house just knows we are COLLEGE and the litter grows out of the ground with the flowers.) 7 years ago

i really took this to show the green lawn but that didn’t come out as well. it’s like the good equivalent of the other picture’s evil. it even looks like it has a halo. 7 years ago

i tried to make the rainbow show up a little better, but its still very faint. i think it looks a little clearer in the small size than larger. please understand that i was getting hailed on while i was trying to photograph this. 7 years ago

we have a lot of woodpeckers waking us up in the morning. this one in particular inhabits our classroom building, and is tearing out all the insulation. 7 years ago

i chose this view because it has different types of vegetation. grass in the foreground, sagebrush on the plain, juniper on the hill, and ponderosa pine on the ridge. i think when i take it again i might try to get less of the basketball court in the shot, but i want the hoop there as a reference point.
