I am installing new bookcases which I had to have painted, so I spent the whole weekend slaving away and finished 29 shelves in total! I still have to do the supports, but I hope at least four of these will be up by this coming Friday which means that most of my books currently littering the living room will be on the shelves. I still need to buy more shelves and the rest of the bookcases this coming Friday, but at least the house will be seriously decluttered.
Which means that once this is done, I’ll be able to pick up Aussie from his favorite farm and allow him again to run in the house. It was otherwise impossible to do this with him sniffing around.

Just finished painting all sides of the shelves but one. I will finish that one tomorrow, then will clear coat, then they are ready. All I’ll need to do next is install them, and I should be able to do this by Friday.

to finish adding shelves to a bookcase. I am actually hoping to finish painting the one side of the new shelves today, all four of them by Friday. Drilling the holes should also be doable. By next Monday the books should be in place.

I lent my ladder to a friend about 10 months ago. Although we see each other occasionally, we have never connected so that it can be returned. This is one obstacle I should be able to do something about quickly. The rest is motivation.
