I want to see as many basketball and swimming events as possible so I need to save my money.

How to go to the Olympics

How I did it: As a swimmer, I've always looked up to Michael Phelps and, of course, wanted to see him swim live instead of on TV. My parents were willing to compromise; they wanted to go to China in 2008, during the same times as the Beijing Olympics. Lessons & tips: It's also easy to buy tickets from locals once you get there. to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic games. My mom got tickets to the opening ceremonies. I’m so exited

I am really not all that interested in most of the events that the Olympics have to offer, and especially the Winter Games. However, I would love to attend the opening ceremony of any games and see Soccer at a Summer Games. I remember 2 years ago setting a goal to try to save and get enough money to go to the London games in 2012, but between school and my determination in the last year to move to Boston this fall… Well that probably won’t happen because I am a poor student.

Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to go see the Olympics. My parents aren’t in to going so I’ll have to go by myself. I think it would be a really fun experience.

Just returned from Beijing. This was our very first Olympic games. We enjoyed it very much. If the 2016 Olympics comes to Tokyo, my wife and I hope to be one of the volunteers.

I am one of the best under 18’s at badminton in my region but I am nowhere near a high standard at the moment. If I was to go to the Olympics I would want to be representing my country in badminton so I guess the only thing to do is train hard and get noticed.
