I was thinking of visiting China for the Olympics and celebrating my birthday there. The only thing is that there seems to be some controversy that is building up around China. I’ve been trying to put some money aside for this trip and it’s been getting harder and harder lately. I should start solidifying my plans by the end of this month.

I would have absolutely loved going to the Olympics in China, but it just won’t be financially possible so I’m thinking maybe 2012 or even 2016 or later. I don’t think it will diminish as something I’d like to do once in my lifetime.

Ah yes, a dream of mine. Winters before summers, but I wouldn’t complain either way. 2010 in Vancouver and 2014 in Russia. How cool would that be? I’m going to go one of these years. Should have went to Salt Lake back in 98, but just couldn’t do it. Would love to go and cheer on TEAM USA baby!
