Spring Clean 2008 19 months ago

after a hiatus (from personal reasons i dont even think i could articulate), i’m wanting to “clean slate” my 43T goals, and really focus on what i’m actively working on daily. So i will be temporarily “giving up” on a number of goals, not that i am really giving up on Ever doing them, but they arent goals i am focused on achieving or CAN work on at this time. ( I wish 43T had a “OnHold” catagory…!)

Here’s my Temporarily BackBurnered List:

  1. enroll in language immersion course for Italian in Florence, Milan or Venice
  2. write a screenplay
  3. become a better photographer, earn certification in photography
  4. publish a book of poetry
  5. sing Cabaret Style
  6. write essays, articles and blog entries to get my ideas out in the world
  7. earn certification in Chado Tea Ceremony
  8. Throw a dart into a map and travel to where it lands
  9. create a vision board of my 43 things

WHEW ! i feel lighter. Now, onto effective EFFORTS and ENTRIES !

Alaythia is slowly settling in

Alrighty then... 2 years ago

I have scrubbed, sanitized, and ruthlessly evaluated my list o’ goals. I’ve recycled what was salvageable and now I’m ready to move on to bigger and better things. It’s so nice to have a fresh, clean, de-cluttered list. : )

I'm making some progress 2 years ago

on this. I’ve been voting a few stagnant goals off of the island and reassessing some others. I just felt like there wasn’t any room for growth on my old list. Times change, priorities change, goals that once sounded fresh and exciting become dull and stale and burdensome after a while—especially when no progress is made on them. I think there are still some cuts to be made here and there but I’m feeling better about my culling now. More space, less clutter. : )
