The numbers on the scale are slowly moving downward. This is good. I’m in no hurry. As long as my weight keeps going down and I keep eating foods that are good for me, that makes me happy.
How I did it: We did Atkins diet and added some exercise. It was that straightforward. This required dropping of carbs down to a bare minimum. We already at meat at every meal ,so that wasn't an extra challenge. What we added was salads. Mostly the benefit long term from this was dropping the eating of bread almost entirely from our diets. To this day I still eat less bread than every. Read how I did it…

start this again.
But well, I’m not even sure how much I have lost already and how much I have left. :s
Maybe,,, I should bring out that notebook of mine where I noted down my weight and sizes every once in a while and then weigh myself at the same scale?!
Scary.
Lol.
Edit: I just found out that I’m 170lbs after my breakfast. :) Will try to find that notebook now to find out how much I used to weigh in the beginning. :)

Start Date June 15th 2009
Age 26
Start Weight 184 pounds:Current Weight 183
Goal Weight 125-130 pounds
Activity level Wheel Chair for long distances and minimal walking due to a really bad injury in my left foot.
How to lose the weight Assuming only 1,000 calories consumed a day at a total of 2,000 average (Womens’s Average) daily calories minus 1,000 calories would leave a negative of 1,000 calories a day. (Men’s Avereage is about 2,500)
At negative 1,000 calories a week times 7 times a week would result a total of negative 7,000 calories a week resulting in the lose of 2 lbs per week taking 30 weeks to lose all 60 lbs totaling in something about 7 months all weight would be lost by January 11 2010.
Reminder one pound of fat is 3,500 Calories
This diet is an extreme diet not to be done without a Dr.’s aprroval! Remember you can always ease into a diet start even by eating just a little less than you do every day. It may take a little longer but you’ll get there!
Day two if you have a craving have a little bit of what you want in a small portion and don’t binge by denying yourself what you want!
I’ll be filling in my log either as the day goes on or at the end of the day.

My Story I have been dealing with my foot injury for the past three years and this is why I am doing this. Plus I found out that I have cancer three days after my 26th birthday back on March 6th, 2009. The Dr.’s wanted me to go in on my Birthday March 3rd, 2009 but, I wasn’t going to do that to myself. Needless to say my happiness level could use an ego boost!

So I went Over little bit my first day but, that’s okay! It doesn’t haven’t be 1,000 exactly fudging a little here and there etc. This way I didn’t binge. I got what I wanted and didn’t regret it!
I think this was a really good first day.
Lost 3 pounds this week. not much but its an acomplishment, and i’m proud of it!
Wow! I knew I haven’t written recently but didn’t realize it’s been a month! Well, the first round of my at work weight watchers program came to an end last Tuesday. I am 1.6 lbs shy of meeting my 10% goal. So, I started the 16 weeks at 210.8 and now I’m about 191.4. Went from sizes 18/20 to 14/16. It feels good. I have to be honest about not following the program very well and put most credit for the loss to increasing my activity(many dog walks) I do have to say that I made some better food decisions but can do better. So, I’ve resolved to at least write down everything I eat this week. No worry about points or limits. Just want to get into the habit of writing them down. Then I’ll start figuring out points. Then start worrying if I’m going over or under or right on. With that said, I have renewed for another 17 weeks of at-work weight watchers.
