So for the past few weeks I’ve been preparing myself as best I can to lose weight. I know that seems silly PREPARING to lose weight rather than just going at it. I’ve been getting up early to get used to morning gym trips, and I’ve been having breakfast (which I used to skip) and drinking more water to avoid snacking.
In class today I was talking with a classmate next to me and the subject of weight loss came up. I mentioned that I had finally started having breakfast when I used be a skipper. She asked me “What’re you having for breakfast?” I told her Carnation instant breakfast, a glass of water, and apple, and a bowl of cheerios. Apparently ALL of those thing are no good for me for breakfast when it comes to losing weight. And here I thought those were all decently healthy things that would keep me full till lunch. The carnation is sugar free and even has protein for my workout. Tell me, is any of what I’m doing the RIGHT thing to do? 3 months ago

I lost 3 pounds ! 4 months ago
I gained close to a hundred pounds over ten years that were filled with surgeries from sports injuries. I have managed to drop almost 40 since May. I will be starting my second 90 day challenge with visalus shakes today. Also will be training to run in an 8K race in honor of my mother this summer. 4 months ago
How I did it: One pound at a time! Watching what I ate, exercising a lot...lots of hard work. Lots of fun and self discovery as well! I exercise a lot...usually about 8 hours a week...doing lots of different things (see below). I watch everything I eat. I TRY not to get discouraged at a set back but I'm human and I do get down in the dumps...but I KEEP MOVING!!! Giving up is not an option! Read how I did it… 6 months ago
