Pay off my student loans AND take care of all other debt

but, I pulled my credit report. I made a debt reduction plan, and everything goes into full swing November 1.

I’ve set up a budget, fixed some problems that one of my loans was making, set up to pay online (for those loans that have that option), and had a conversation with my bank about consolidating all of my loans—federal and state.

I feel a lot more at ease with this process now. Because I’ve gone from having no money to pay them to getting a regular pay check. And I know now, that it’s going to work out.

I am one of millions of people in debt. I think I could safely say that am I also one of millions that has no idea how to pay down my debt quickly.

I was thinking about it today and realized that I’m not even sure how much debt I have that isn’t school loan related. The simplest thing for me to do would to pull a credit report on myself. It hasn’t happened yet because I have this fear of what else is amiss. Also, I’m having trouble finding a truly “free” way to get my report as well.

Another thing that has come to my attention is that I don’t understand basic words used in my loans. This is totally unacceptable.

Man, I hate money and debt right now.

I don’t mind having student loans. But what I hate right now is not having the income to pay them off.

But I’ve already called the loan people today and talked to them about short term plans. And it seems a little better.
