finish reading all the books I own

The thing I realize about this goal is that being a college student (especially in a department that is reading heavy) makes this goal really hard. It’s not that I don’t like reading or that I don’t read very much, but that at the end of the day I don’t have anytime to read a book from my collection. :(

Well, Spring Break is coming, maybe I’ll knock out a couple from my shelf :)

...if only I could stop buying MORE books!

but I will try. It’s not like I have too many, just really can’t finish a book without moving to another one.

I dont have a habit of reading books at all. But, I know its a good habit to have. So, I have recently started buying good books & I already bought 4 of them. Have to take the first step…soon.

i was once a member of bookmooch.com and got tons of books. now i have way to many and i’m moving so i’m giving them away. except for my james patterson that is.

I am borrowing books from others that will make lighter reading for this summer. turns out my collection is too heavy on the classics and books that could be used to give someone a serious head injury if thrown.

Only got 3 books for my birthday this year. And started in one already.

So that’s 11 books in, 17 books read I own and haven’t read before. Quit a nice score.

to stop the insanity of cluttering my apt with more books that sit around unread

step 1 – stop getting new books. im just making this goal harder as i go along. but i cant stop myself sometimes – so many books, so little time.

The first half of the year wasn’t that bad.

I got two books as present. I bought two books two cheer myself up after hearing some bad news. I bought 4 other books. So that totals to 8.

So far this year I read 16 books which I owned already (or bought/got this year). So that’s 8 books from my TBR shelves.

However, next week is my birthday and I tend to get a lot of books. And then in at the end of august I’ll have to restrain myself. I usually go to a massive bookfair with a lot of books with more than 50% off. I’ll have to behave if I go, but it will be wiser not to go at all.
