How to sell a painting"I promoted my art over the internet and some wonderful couple in CA finally wanted to buy one of my pieces last holiday season : ) "
How I did it: I created a simple website and started selling little things online. I promoted my site through cheap little ads and kept on creating more and more affordable art. One day, someone bought one of my prized pieces for $500! It was the greatest feeling I have ever had! Still gives me chills : ) Lessons & tips: Just keep putting yourself out there and keep learning. It will happen! Just takes perseverance! Oh yea, and I once heard that if you step outside your comfort zone, the universe will bend over backwards for you. I quit my job and lived off the little savings I had so I could completely dedicate myself to doing something I loved. I now run a successful company helping other artists sell their work - Fey Handmade Resources: Other artists, talking with people (all kinds of people... they are technically your customers after all... you nevvvver know!), and advertising on the internet. You don't have to spend a ridiculous amount to get yourself out there. Don't be silly about it. |

How I did it: I just kept painting and finally someone liked what they saw and offered me money for a piece :D Then they gave me money and I gave them my painting. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I dedicate the painting for over twenty years, participating in numerous exhibitions, Art Salons, auctions, and all kinds of expressions of Plastic Arts. If you want this painting, it's only send a message to pkadunc@terra.com.br Read how I did it…

I sold my first painting at 22, so an entire lifetime of work felt worthwhile. I definitely recommend this one. I have sold many since, but the first sale is very exciting.
Angels are the most beautiful creatures ever known to mankind. So it is impossible for any artist, poet, writer etc to determine/judge its beauty.
In this picture you are also unable determine/judge its beauty.

I think within the next few minutes i’m going to call this “done.” The reason for this is that the whole reason I made this a goal is so I could put my art “out” but I gave my roommate a painting as a gift when she got married and so I have something “out there.” I know I didn’t sell it, but a gift is just as good, especially since she asked for it before I considered giving it to her. I gave a painting to my mom too, and she loves it. Anyway, so I guess one (or even two) give-aways is as good as selling. I’m calling this done.
