The only three heroes I’ve never met have been The Beatles, Spencer Tunick, and Morrissey (although I did see him live at Festival Hall in 1991). I can honestly say that all my celebrity encounters have been positive ones and they did not disappoint me one bit.

My long-standing wish is to meet and befriend Karen Carpenter. It’s hard to believe someone so full of life and so richly blessed with musical talent was taken away so young. She was just 32 years old, and I secretly loved her. Perhaps we will meet in Heaven and finally sing “Top of the World” or “Goodbye to Love” together!

I would love to bump into someone like Zac Efron, Rob Pattinson, Jensen Ackles, Chad Michael Murray or any other of my celebrity crushes :) I’m totally gonna visit L.A one way or another!

I really want to meet Clay Aiken someday. I just love him.

I’ve met a few sports celebrities… Boomer Esiason, Mark McGuire, Anthony Munoz and a few others.

I do the website for another and even though I haven’t met her in person, she does call and email me regularly and we are on a first name basis.

Also have sort-of met the singer Brandi Carlile, she left me a voicemail (prompted by a friend who knows her) and I kicked myself for having my phone off and missing her call.

I have met a bunch of celebrity. Conan O’Brian, Peter Jennings and some members of the royal family.

I don’t want a fan gushing spurt of nonsense meet. I just want to be able to exchange pleasantries, shake hands, okay, maaaaybe get an autograph AND get my picture taken, but I think I can pull it off tastefully.
