They are amazing things. In Norway I walked on a glacier on this tour where you held onto a rope and had metal spikes attached to your shoes. Looking down into blue abysses was amazing.
Then in Patagonia I camped near glacier grey in torres del paine national park. I would go and sit there for like an hour just waiting for a chunk of ice to fall off. It’s so spectacular.
