Get my undergraduate degree

I decided about 3 and a half years ago that it was time, applied to a local university and got accepted. Now, finally, after 3 and a half years of working full-time, going to school full-time (with the exception of one semester when I had a crazy work schedule), I am now finally graduating!

It took me ten years and three schools, but I finally graduated from college! I never finished high school and I wasn’t sure that I could make it through college but I did. I graduated on May 10, 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science – yes TWO degrees! It was not easy going to school, working, and raising two children, but it was VERY MUCH worth it! I am proud that I have set a goal and managed to achieve it ten years later. If you are thinking about going back to school someone very wise told me “there is never a right time or a good time to do something, you just HAVE to do it NOW!”

I’m not giving up… just taking it off my list.

Biomedical Engineering.

One semester in… 5 or 6 to go.

this is so important these days. i’m sure i’m going to sound like somebody’s mom or something, but i know people who are working who don’t have an undergraduate degree and unfortunately, i don’t foresee them getting very far (at least not in the field i’m in) without one. is it possible to be sucessful without a degree? yes, but consider what kinds of careers require one and which ones don’t and decide which is right for you.

I got my degree in Political Science. To date my graduation day was the best day of my life! Go for yours guys!

Almost there – 1 more year… International Political Science with a minor in Military and Diplomatic History

I’m just starting college this year, I’ve been putting off school for three years. Time to go back. Wish me luck!
