Learn to budget

There is a LOT of variation in how much I make every week, and I get paid in cash. I haven’t been keeping a record of anything so I really have no idea how much I make, or where any of the money goes.

The first step in writing my budget is to keep a little notebook with me all the time, so I can keep track of any cash coming in or going out. From the information I’ve gathered, it looks like doing this for two weeks is the first step to budgeting. This way I can get an idea of what my spending habits are like. I’ve been doing this for three days, and it’s pretty easy. I just have to remember to use the book – so I put the book in my wallet and now it’s a cakewalk.

Another method I see a lot, is that you get your bank statements and old bills and reciepts and record what you spent and where to get an idea of your actual spending habits. This really won’t work for me because I don’t have any of this, but I thoght it may be useful for someone who is reading this.

budget ma cheers, some days I don’t have any to give and that’s when someone does something great to deserve it …

Is there a cheers depository I can save them in and maybe gain some interest too ?

but i signed up for a cool website, www.mint.com. it let’s me see all of my accounts in one place and is really helping me to visualize my goals.

as of today, I have no consumer debt…just 4 bills! monthly maintenance type stuff—-

once I learn how to save and invest, I will be so a Budget Queen

i am now down to only 4 monthly bills! once i am able to pay them on time, save 10% and invest 10%, I will be on my way to budgeting like a pro

so that I can save money!!!!
