good destination, bad journey 10 months ago

I used every unhealthy method of weightloss possible. anorexia, bulemia, working-out until injury, caffiene, nicotine, sudaphed, pain-pills, self abuse basically. i lucked out that i’m still alive… i thought i was so much stronger than others because i went threw alot of pain quickly and got results quickly. instead of eatng right and excersising regularly i cheated. i’ve found that it’s like the hare and the tortes. slow and steady does it. good luck, and keep up the good work!



Progress 12 months ago

So far I am down to 242.4 pounds, which is from a Peak weight of 251 pounds since last Sunday. That’s 7.6 pounds lost in 7 days. :) I feel good. I almost feel lighter.



Tomorrow is Day 1 14 months ago

My new diet/exercise regime starts tomorrow. If all goes well I aim to lose about two pounds a day. I currently weigh 250 pounds, and all my joints hurt and walking is hard, running is impossible. I would like to get down to my former weight and lose a little more in order to feel healthy.



IT'S SO HARD 21 months ago

OK I WEIGHED ABOUT 225 THEN I CHANGED POSITIONS AT MY JOB WHERE I WAS ALWAYS RUNNING BACK AND FORTH SO I WAS DOWN TO 199 AND EXTREMELY HAPPY TO HAVE A 1 AS THE FIRST DIGIT IN MY WEIGHT THEN I MESSED AROUND WITH A GUY AT WORK AND ENDED UP PREGNANT AND SHOT BACK UP TO 225 AFTER HAVING MY SON 7LBS 7OZ I STAYED AROUND 220-225 THE WHEN MY SON WAS A COUPLE MONTHS AWAY FROM BEING 1 I GOT MARRIED TO ANOTHER GUY FROM WORK GOT PREGNANT AGAIN AND QUIT MY JOB I WENT UP TO ABOUT 250 WITH HER I HAD HER 8LBS 10OZ AND ENDED UP AT LIKE 240 AND STAYED THAT WAY TO FIND OUT THAT 3 MONTHS LATER I WAS PREGGO AGAIN AGGHH THIS AINT HELPING MY WEIGHT SO WITH HIM I WENT ALL THE WAY UP TO LIKE 280 282 AND I HAD HIM ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO HE WAS 10LBS 3OZ OUCH! IT HURT SO BAD TO HAVE HIM ESPECIALLY SINCE IT WASNT A C-SECTION IT WAS NATURAL AND HE MESSED ME UP SO BAD! BUT ANY HOW IM CURRENTLY AT ABOUT 250- 255 AND WOULD LOVE TO LOOSE ABOUT 125 POUNDS AND I JUST CANT SEEM TO DO IT I TRY AND TRY AND TRY BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK! ANY IDEAS?

I used to be so very skinny. When I got married, I weighed 110 pounds. Then I had two kids 17 months apart, and lived in a very stressful situation, including a very unhappy marriage, for five years. Now that I’m out of all that stress, there are other stressors that just make it tough to drop the pounds. But now I weigh 245 pounds, which is FAR too much for someone who’s only 5’2”. So my big goal this year is really get serious about making the lifestyle changes that are required to drop these excess pounds and get back to a reasonable weight.



Working at it...not 100% though... 2 years ago

I started my Couch-to-5K program on monday so today was my second run (more like a very slow walk/jog). It hurt, but in the end it will help me get toward my goal. Now I just need to eat less junk and carbs and more veggies.

i am supposed to weigh 140.

i am not going to permit myself to spend money until i am at my goal weight.
i will have alot saved up by then probably.

i want to lose it within two years….

I couldn’t believe what I saw. Where is the weight coming from. I try to eat healthy but I just keep on gaining weight. I hate to look in the mirror. I don’t like what I see.

It hurts to walk and my legs are hurting and swelling like crazy.

I know that I am the only one who can stop this madness. Food is not my friend…Food is not my friend….Food is not my friend..

I feel like this is a life time away but I just have to keep trudging forward. I’ve lost 63 pounds since July 06 but still have so much to lose.
