I’m up to 103 and I hate it. HATE it. I’m going to camp in 2 days and everyone’s going to see my big fat thighs when we swim. I still have to gain weight at camp. Eventually I have to get up to 112 (!). I worked so hard to get down to 100 and now I have to give it all up.



I guess they were right 5 months ago

So I was diagnosed with an eating disorder on Wednesday. The doctor wouldn’t say anorexia because she’s waiting for the bloodwork to come back and say that I haven’t purged (which I haven’t, by the way.) I’m getting help, I’m seeing a nutritionist Monday and I’ve increased my calories to 2000, which seems like a huge amount of food and I constantly feel guilty about it, but I guess I need it. I’m up to 101, which is good for my health but I still look and feel fat. My mom’s making me drink Ensure, and I hate the stuff but I drink it anyway, even though my dad thought I poured it down the drain today, which I didn’t. I still feel fat, but the doctor says it’s affecting my heart, so I should probably gain the weight. I wish I didn’t have to.



I need to prove my parents wrong 5 months ago

I’ve been dieting for months and my parents think I have an eating disorder. I’m 5’3” and 100 pounds (but I’m a teenager so it’s technically healthy.) If I don’t gain this weight in the next month (!) I won’t be allowed to go to camp.

When I was younger I was anorexic and I’ve always struggled with my weight. I have recently become a vegetarian and at 5’3 my weight is around 98. I think I would look better if I had some more weight.

That’s 10 pounds away, but I’m taking it on step at a time, so I’m starting with gain pounds and keeping it on, then I’ll aim for another 5 pounds.

My goal 15 months ago

I am 14 and I weigh 146 pounds. I want to weigh 150 pounds, but since this is “gain 5 pounds”, I figured what the heck I might as well get to 151. The amazing fact is that I was 139 back in early July and now at mid-August I’m 146. So I think I can take this on pretty easy. It’s simple: I want to weigh 150 by September 21st and 151 by October 1st. I’ll weigh every two weeks and post here on my progress (by the way, I’ll be turning 15 on August 24th so I’ll probably be a 150-pound 15-year-old, not 14.)
