I used to wake 5.30 back then when I was single. I married to a man that wake up only when somebody wake him up. and now, I’m that person who turn off the alarm and sleep again (i even did not press the snooze button). Result? skip breakfast, not prepare meal for my daughter and late to work
I also skip my morning prayer. that’s really bad…
this morning I will set alarm at 4.30 and wake up before alarm goes off. 4 months ago

How I did it: I didn't really do much to complete this goal except for get a job that requires me to wake up at 4am. Now I am up every day before 5. I relied heavily on like 3 alarms, if it weren't for the annoying beeping I may have never made it to work most days! I also started going to be earlier and at the same time every day. I think this one will be accomplished very soon. My wake up time is now around 8am.. but I just got a new job where I will have to be to work by 430 am.. not an ideal way of becoming a morning person but I think it will most certainly help :) 18 months ago

Woke up at 8:30 ish today. A bit later than usual, just because I was at Nuit Blanche past midnight yesterday..err today. Ended up sleeping over at a friend’s house, and everyone but me is snoozing their morning away :P After adopting a morning routine to my day, I’m starting to enjoy them. It really sets my day :) 19 months ago

Woke up at 8:10 made breakfast for my boyfriend and I, prepared our lunches and currently enjoying a nice cup of green tea before I ride my bike to work. I decided part of my morning routine is to read one of my favourite blogs about simplifying life and to make an intention each day. Today’s intention: slow down. Instead of rushing to work, I’m going to take a nice bike ride. After work, I’m going to cook a lovely dinner for my lovely boyfriend and savour every bite of my meal and the quality time I’m having with him.
Hope everyone else is having a swell morning! 20 months ago

I have been getting up 6-8 am lately. If anything 9am the latest. I`m typically in a good mood but I would like to start getting a nice morning routine in. 20 months ago

I’ve got an alarm set for 9:30 (which is early for me) yet I always just turn it off and go back to sleep. Unless, I actually have to get up for something like work.
I just wonder what would be easier, forcing myself to wake up at the same time every morning, OR going to bed at the same time every night.
I know the answer is probably both but I feel like that’s impossible for me :) 20 months ago
