How to complete a first aid course
It made me
feel helpful 
"in charge"
How I did it: I followed a week end course given by the Samaritians 1st aid squad designed for people who woon want to take a driving class (compulsory in switzerland to do a 1st aid otherwise no driving license).
Lessons & tips: if you are like me not into seeing too much of bloody pictures...take your glasses off.
Resources: 1st aid book povided by the squad.

of course, i did this quite a number of years ago. i should do it again, really. but i’m confident in my ability to give the heimlich, which is useful.

But only because I took the initiative to follow up and do some extra review, and this stuff is worth knowing. The class itself wasn’t very good.

I work on a summer camp 3 years ago and we had the possibity to have this course free so I took it. It was the second time i would finished it because i paid fr it 5 years ago. Now my “licence” is not good anymore.. I guess i should do it all over.
I’ve still never used it and i’m pretty happy with that.

I did one for work. I’d like to do a refresher course at some point though, it’s easy to forget that stuff, particularly if you’re not using it.
