women were not able to voice their OWN opinions, as this is womens history month I want to personally Thank
My great Grandmothers, and my Grandmothers,my mom and all the other women in my life that fought for the vote, that used the minds that were given them to make the world around them a better place, for instilling in me the spark that made me the Grown women I am today,
With a Voice that Is knowledgeable, articulate, and hopefully compassionate.
HIStory has been written forever It is so very refreshing to know that a Womens historical Record is now thought of and valued. we are the majority population after all and with out us we there really wouldn’t be any thing to write about!

I think that, rather than become more of a Bluestocking, I should become a better Bluestocking. And frankly, this may mean being less likely to engage in self-indulgent literary endeavors and start forming book clubs and other community-based activities. This is an important part of the Bluestocking creed—sharing thoughts and ideas.
So, I’m going to stop the “more-ness” and take up the “better-ness”. This goal is off the list, but still on my mind.

I’ve had this goal for about 5 minutes and already it has afforded me a fantastic (and curious) opportunity. My best friend just asked me what a “bluestocking” was. Huh. My best friend! I can’t help feeling like I’ve failed her just a little bit. (But, on the most basic level, you’d think she would have noticed all my Bas Bleu cataloges laying around.)
This got me to thinking that maybe we need to provide a quick resource about this goal. So here’s a start: Bluestocking

...to become more of a Bluestocking than I already am, but what the heck, I’ll give it a whirl! I’m going for a whole blue body-stocking.
