hit a homerun

No, I didn’t hit a homerun last night, but I am seeing continual improvement! Last night I scored once and made it on base all but one at bat (that one was soooo close!). I’m feeling a lot more power in my swings. More practice and I know I’ll get there!

We won (18-11) our first game of the season against a team that really made us work. While I didn’t hit a homerun, I did make contact with the ball every at bat and made it on base 3 out of 4 at bats (the one time I didn’t get on base, I did advance a fellow teammate, so it wasn’t a complete loss).

I’m feeling good about this. Each game and practice gives me more experience to build on. Hopefully this season I’ll complete this goal!

I hit (no pun intended) the batting cages for a little extra practice. Tomorrow night is our first game of the fall season. Yea!

like Josh Hamilton last night. Even though he didn’t win the derby, he’s an inspiration. Reminds me of Gehrig, Ruth…all the greats through the years. Triumphing through adversity (baseball or personal) and showing so much love for the game…that’s winning.

He hit those balls as if there was no other choice. It’s what he was meant to do at that very moment. What could be better? If I could hit a homerun just once with that much authority, I think I’d feel like I could do ANYTHING!

I hit a solo shot and a walk off grand slam. It seems like i can hit homeruns easily now- heres some advice dont try to hit one it will just happen

...and I did not hit a homerun. It was a good season anyway. I’m planning to hit the batting cages before the fall season starts up and give myself a little extra practice. Just need to keep those batting gloves in the car so I can stop in whenever I feel like it. I will complete this…I know I will!

I make contact with the ball. I’ve bunted, I’ve hit singles, I’ve hit a double. I love running the bases, but just once I’d like to hit a homerun. Extra points if someone else is already on base. :) With more practice and more power, I’m sure a homerun is possible!

Starting playing ball a while ago. I’d really love to crush one out of the park! I think I’ll need some time in the cages before it happens though

15 years and not one. good thing i was a good pitcher. at least i have intramurals.
