I recently have read more into eating raw and living foods. I am a member of various forums about the subject and find it fascinating. I’ve already starting eating many more raw meals and hope to find myself at the point of eating at least 50% RAW. For anyone who plans to do this, I do have one suggestion. You can find so many resources online for recipes (in fact, if you are interested please contact me at jaded.pyratekk@gmail.com and I can provide you with lots of links!), but remember that you don’t have to eat complicated recipes. This is one thing I have already learned about raw foods. I tried so many fun recipes in the beginning of this journey, and found myself spending so much money and time in the kitchen that I almost stopped trying this goal.
But in the end I started eating more simple, and it was so much easier on me and on my wallet. For example, instead of making a complicated raw cereal – I just put some pecans in a bowl and add a handful of raisins. Instead of making a complicated cucumber/orange/grape salad for lunch (this requires the food processor to be gotten out) I instead eat 2 bananas, a handful of grapes, a handful of sunflower seeds…and some almond milk. It’s so much easier to just grab and eat than spend so much time in the kitchen – and this is coming from someone who loves to cook!
