take my mom to a concert

The thing is that I don’t think she actually wants to go to a concert.

We made plans to see either the Decemberists (her pick) or Kinski (my pick), but when the nights came she said she was too tired to go out.

We’ll try again next time she visits.

I’ve taken my dad to a concert. Many, in fact. It’s become my birthday tradition to buy him tickets to a concert in the summertime. In Seattle, there’s this great concert series that had been hosted on the Pier every summer (it’s now gonna be on Lake Union). It’s become such a special thing between us. I totally recommend doing it!
