How I did it: It was great to finally get up there. I've been putting it off for months and people at work were even starting to comment on when i would get it cut or if i was going to grow out a hockey mullet. I had wanted to donate it to locks of love, but you have to have ten inches of hair and i was nowhere near that minimum (or so i thought), but going in today, one of the stylists (for some reason, no men work at my new barber shop) told me that guys only have to donate 5-6 inches of hair. I'm looking it up right now. I can't find anything about them using that shorter hair in wigs, but they sell the shorter hair to offset operating costs. I sure hate operating costs! My hair is straight and my hair style is pretty basic and anyway, money’s tight so these tools are perfect for my purposes.
The original clips are called Crea Clips and sell for about $29.99 but I got these cheap imitation clips on Amazon for $11 and a pair of hair cutting scissors for $5. I really hate going to salons anyway so I’m loving these for now. 9 months ago
I finally got round to getting my hair cut.
I was growing it for my wedding day and then after the wedding came and went I kept meaning to go and get it cut but just never got round to it. I’ve still kept it long, but a good 4 inches has come off, and I also have a slight fringe :) 10 months ago
