How I did it: I got dumped, and needed a change. So I hopped in the car, went to my favorite Cost Cutters- luckily, my favorite hair dresser EVER was there- and just got a trim. All my nasty split ends are gone, and my hair is fabulous and healthy again! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I have long, naturally curly and fuzzy-frizzy hair and I had been getting it chemically straightened for a couple of years. I loved it, but I've got a baby now and can't afford to spend mega-bucks on my hair anymore. Almost all the natural curl had grown back in, but the ends were still pretty straight and really damanged. My hair just looked like crap, and now that summer's here it was getting way too heavy and hot.By s… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I went for a more defined, darker and warmer shade, just a bit darker than my natural color. Nothing drastic. I also got an inch cut off, and some long layers added. I'm quite happy with the results! Read how I did it…

I’ll get one soon here, it’s just they are so expensive for something that ends up growing out in three days anyways..
Well I did it. I’m not quite sure how I feel about it yet because it is fairly short, but I think maybe I’m just disgruntled about other aspects of my appearance and it’s keeping me from being as happy as I should be with my hair.
If nothing else, it’s very soft now. And that’s good.
i’ve been procrastinating with this in a major way, but it really needs to happen.
in november of 2007, i decided i was never going to relax my hair again. in april of 2008, i cut off the straight hair.
here i am more than a year later and i haven’t gotten a real haircut. i hide my hair in hats every day because it looks a mess. but in that time, my hair has grown long enough to stretch to my armpits.
i am shamefully attached to this growth. i am afraid that, after my hair cut, i will be left looking like a boy. but i’m making the appointment in the afternoon anyway. hopefully for later this week.
Can’t remember the last time I had a real cut, and not just clipping the sides – well, the temples really. Have taken to clipping the temples with a 3 guard and, you’ve seen a homemade, self-inflicted haircut. Big mess on the bathroom floor (when isn’t it?), but an equally big sigh of relief when the thing was done.

My hair looks HIDEOUS. Just horrible. It has no shape and it gets so greasy so fast. I need a haircut asap.

Tomorrow I’m going over to Eureka Springs for a massage and haircut. I’m going to get my split ends trimmed, and get my hair dyed a little darker and warmer color. I’m happy with my medium to long length right now, but I my natural color is dull. It’s too dark to be blonde, and not dark enough to be brown? Just kind of blah. I had dyed it blonde about two years ago, and would rather keep a more earthy natural look right now.
Sooo… I didn’t go to Omar. I had other stuff come up that day, and I wasn’t that sure about that salon anyway…PLUS the girl from Aveda finally called me back, and not only are they free, but they sound way more legit.
I have an appointment at 1 next Monday…YAY!
Flazzle wishes there was something higher than 10 on the morale-o-meter! :)
I’ve got an appointment for tomorrow! Woohoo!!!
