I made my first non-known friend on myspace, I did this through 43things and we are now in a team of two for daily photos! I am naturally shy so it has been a confidence builder for me. Thank you Karla and I look forward to getting to know you better!

Did something else new this week. I went on a first date with a man I really like, he was great, I wasn’t! I was very scatty, lost my purse….. ran around trying to find it (which we did), almost missed our film. I will wait and see if he calls (I do seem to have purse issues)

Every year I keep meaning to go to a Christmas fair or shop. This week I went to Christmas Common to a shop full of christmas cheer…. I am definately christmasfied now.

Drove to bluewater shopping centre for the first time, took me two hours. (Realised when I was almost there that I forgot my purse – no money no shopping :( – oh well!) So my something new this week was 1. drove to bluewater 2. Went shopping and didn’t spend any money! Two firsts in one week.

I want to do new and different things at least once a week – go to a new town, try a new activity, learn something, watch a film I wouldn’t normally watch…......Everyone should go to bed a different person from the one they woke up as!- thats what Angela (in the middle) taught me.
I keep passing this place on the way from the office to the hotel and it is always packed. So, since i know I’ll be leaving China in a few days i decided to go in.
Not one word of English was spoken by anyone and it was the first time I went somewhere like this without an interpreter. I have been out on my own but most of the places have someone ho can speak English. This place had ZERO.
No worries, I did the old point, smile, hold-the-corresponding-number-of-fingers-for-quantity, and play charades game.
It all worked out fine and the food was awesome. So glad I did this!
