I am a down to earth, self made and self motivated person who have seen a lots of ups and downs and lots of successes and faliures in my short life. I always felt life is better even I didn’t have anyone to stand by me or to support, favor or care me. But, after entering in my 30s I start feeling that I must have someone and started to look for a GREAT REAL LIFE FRIEND FOREVER but unfortunately never found and it hurts…
Im confused? where does this go? where is my real life friend via the internet. im so lost. and bored. and lonely.
I met one of my best friends on the internet. We were both part of a forums called govteen (which I don’t go to anymore, BTW. I don’t like it) and he was browsing through profile bios looking for a Christian to talk to… at the time, I really was not that much of a strong Christian, but from endless hours talking on AIM, we have grown really close. It’s funny… he’s 5 years older than me and we live a few thousand miles away from each other, but it’s almost like we grew up together. it’s really great, and, I would say REALLY worth doing.
i met one of my very best friends, emilie, on the internet about 8 years ago. we met for the first time “in real life” after knowing one another for about a year. I lived in Ohio and she lived in Indiana, the first time I met her my dad drove me to indy and i stayed the weekend with her. long story short: she ended up moving across the country with me—from the midwest to AZ! we were roomies for awhile, and even though we live apart now, we’re in the same town and get together a couple times a month (and talk nealry every day). she’s a huge part of my life and always will be. cheers for internet/real life friends! :)
