Help a Democrat get in the White House

We need to wake up in this country. What we really need is an HONEST president and an honest vice president. America, wake up! We need to bring our jobs back here! Too many people are without a decent paying job. What will we do if war comes to our soil? Where are our steel mills? We need manufacturing jobs HERE! Take a look at John Edwards—he has a lot of great ideas!

But the Democrats in power need to WORK TOGETHER and get people to focus on key issues that really matter to our country rather than letting the Republicans put them on the defensive all the time.

I was very active in the 1996 election running up to the second Clinton-Gore term. Although I was living abroad at the time, I threw myself into fund-raising and voter registration. The reward for my work was an invitation to attend the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, and later the inaugural in Washington, DC. I love our democratic process. You really can make a difference. Please, please contribute in whatever way you can to ousting the Republicans from the House in the fall of 2006 and the Oval office in 2008.

today someone screamed at me in a parking lot to remove my anti-Bush ‘04 sticker from my car. ” Your guy lost ! Get over it!” He yelled. I reminded him that we BOTH still enjoy free speech in this country. I kept to myself the opinion that with Bush’s election we ALL lost. Witness current events.
