bring my old clothes to the consignment shop

I dropped off all the fall and winter baby clothes to the first of my consignment stores, unfortunately, they’re not taking spring and summer styles yet, and they only took about half of my fall and winter stuff, but at least it is a start.

I’m going to take what doesn’t sell there over to another consignment shop this coming weekend and see if they want it, if not I’ll give it away.

Well, I’ve got one more 50 gallon tote filled to the brim with clothes for consignment and feelers out amongst my friends as to which of the local stores give the best deals to the consignee.

Soo.. that’s the kids stuff done, now for my own closet…

Ugh! I got a couple of boxes packed up and ready to go, then they got lost in the shuffle. Now it’s time for the seasonal change again, and time to re-clean the closets again, so I might as well just lump it all together and bring it all down at once.

I think I’m going to set this as a personal goal, or I don’t think they’re ever going to see the inside of the consignment shop. Procrastination is getting the best of me.

Dropped off 10 things yesterday and 9 things today. Got $12 or so back from other things selling. Whoo!

Yes! Finally planning to do this on Friday and on Saturday if all goes well. That’ll be twenty more things they’ll take.

We brought the clothes to the store and they purchased a few. Dropped the rest off at Goodwill. It’s done.

The clothes in the car have been in there for 2 months! Now there are two bags in the bedroom too. It will be nice to see what they will take and then I can just donate the rest.

After cleaning out my daughters’ closets, I now have even more stuff waiting to go to consignment. I’d better get on this before my entire car is taken up with consignment stuff.
