It would just be cool to sit there and be able to do a back flip.

How I did it: I've been doing them since I was six. My dad used to spot me and help me rotate until I became confident enough that he just didn't spot me one day and I did it all on my own. Read how I did it…

It always seemed like something that would be fun to do…not really useful or anything.

would pay like £300 for someone to teach me how to do a backflip!
How the hell do you even get round to knowing what to do?
Backflips have always felt just out off reach.. I can land them super easy on bouncy castles, but I have a tendency to travel foward ..which means if I try them on an angled trampette (the preferred way of learning them), then I just land back on it (instead of the mat) which is rather painful.
In any case, I REALLY need to tick this one off my list.
