Hoover Dam

Fun trip to take. Its BIG!!! They are building a new bridge across the canyon, in front of the Dam. It is due for completion in 2008. It will be an amazing view of Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.
How to go to the hoover dam

How I did it: I went out to Vegas for my brothers 18th birthday. We took a detour and went to visit the Hoover Dam. The have tours of the facility, but we just looked on the outside, and they had a nice gift shop.

meh, on the way to vegas/LA, and I ended up driving over it with my friend. didn’t even know we we’re going to pass by it let alone over it =)... now that i think about it, it was a fun surprise though
